5/1/2010 - Decision to Adopt

5/6/2010 - Met with Loving Choice Adoption Agency

5/14/2010 - Agency Orientation

6/4/2010 - Doctors Appts.- required basic physicals

6/6/2010- began completing and filling out 25 page autobiographies and miscellaneous paperwork

6/7/2010 - mandatory Fire Inspection

6/10/2010 - Formal Application submitted

6/12/2010 - BCI & FBI Background Checks/Fingerprinting

6/19/2010 - mandatory First Aid/CPR class

6/20/2010 - began creating photobook (adoption profile)

6/21/2010 - submitted autobiographies/ paperwork

7/23-24/2010 - mandatory Parenting Classes

7/26/2010 - all reference letters received

8/19/2010 - Homestudy complete

8/21/2010 - Adoption Profiles ordered (3 photobooks)

9/21/2010 - Homestudy approved

9/22/2010 - Waiting and Praying

1/22/2011 - Baby Care Class at local hospital (not required)

4/21/2011 - Mailed application to 2nd Adoption Agency

4/30/2011 - Called 2nd agency, not accepting applications

6/24/2011 - Called 2nd Agency for reconsideration - OPEN! : - )
Confirmed acceptance in Search Program

6/29/2011 - Ordered 5 more Adoption Profiles

7/1/2011 - Received 5 Adoption Profile Photobooks

7/8/2011 - Signed release forms and met with 1st agency to send documents to new agency

7/21/2011 - Paperwork received with new agency

7/25/2011 - Met with directors of 2nd agency, officially in the search program

9/22/2011 - Kiley is born. We got "THE" call!

9/23/2011 - Met our little girl for the first time!

9/27/2011 - Kiley is home!
